23 DVD Rentals
I gave you the list of the 36 books I read over the last year and I regaled you with the 30 albums that represent the last three months of my music acquisitions. Now, it's time for DVDs. However, I'm not going to give you my recently purchased DVDs--at least, not at the moment. First, I want to hit you up with my last three months of Netflix rental history.
So here we go. These are the last 23 titles I've rented through Netflix, oldest to most recent:
- Ed Wood
- The Sweet Hereafter
- Affliction
- The Office Special
- Elf
- Nip/Tuck Season One
- 25th Hour
- Maria Full of Grace
- Super Size Me
- Dodgeball
- Anchorman
- Collateral
- Open Water
- Hero
- The Bourne Supremacy
- Mean Girls
- Changing Lanes
- The Village
- Curb Your Enthusiasm Season Three
- Along Came Polly
- Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
- American Psycho (yet to watch)
- Lewis Black: Black on Broadway (yet to watch)
Some of my favorites in there are Maria Full of Grace, Collateral, Mean Girls, Ed Wood and The Office Special. But overall, I liked all of the titles, though Changing Lanes wasn't amazing , Along Came Polly was just okay and The Village was lackluster, overall. Anchorman was somewhat mediocre, as well, though it certainly had its moments. Dodgeball was hilarious. It doesn't get much better than a huge banner that says "Go Balls Deep".
Oh, and Curb Your Enthusiasm is probably the funniest show on television.
The ones I'm most likely to buy are Mean Girls, Ed Wood, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, and The Office Special (I actually want to pick up the full series box set.)
Have any opinions on these movies? Like my taste? Think I'm crazy for loving Dodgeball? Come on, you know you want to comment.
